Can somebody explain to me what these 3 email options do in Member Control Panel?

    1. “Accept email from site administrators” -
    2. “Accept email from other members of this site” -
    3. “Enable email notifications by default when you post messages”

    Thank you in advance

    1. “Accept email from site administrators”
Means that you can receive email from Administrators via the ExpressionEngine Communicate page.

    2. “Accept email from other members of this site”
Means that members can send you email by clicking the email icon in your profile

    3. “Enable email notifications by default when you post messages”
Means when you reply or post a message. The option to ‘Notify me via email when someone posts in this thread’ is selected by default.
