    Hi,

for a few new users in the contorl-panel i want to create a usergroup which is able to see the code in the “Template”-Section but has no rights to edit the code or write changes to it, how do i do this? I looked in usergroups etc. but found no easy solution.

    TIA for any pointers.

I am afraid there is no obvious solution to that. There is a permission “Can access EDIT page”, but it includes seeing as well as editing templates. Please fell free to make a feature request to allow for more fine-grained permissions.

    Thanks Ingmar,

so what i found was true. At that Time i don’t think a FR seems apropriate, i now reroute new users to the core-version and the various tutorials available before i let them in.
