Your problem is such that you have 2 domains in play
http://upsstoreowners.org (an alias)
and
Your install is on the the .com domain hence your search result url is hardcoded with a .com address.
So if I am logged into the http://upsstoreowners.org then my cookie will be set to that domain. So if I search and click on a link that brings me to the .com address I will be logged out.

So what would be the best way to resolve this problem?
We primarily use upsstoreowners.org, but we also own upsstoreowners.com and upsstoreowners.net to catch stragglers who don’t get the extension right.

One way to fix this problem would be to use the find and replace plugin to change the .com in the results back to .org.
I’m sorry I missed the .com versus .org.
