Quiet as a Church Mouse in here, could this be a good thing?

I know it’s a rhetorical question, everybodys got some projects to finish up before the weekend hits. I’m in my new house, with no TV, no phones, nothing but radio for media.
Waiting for the Cable guy to hook up TV, Broadband, and Phone.
He’s supposed to call on Super Bowl Sunday to be sure I’m there and come and hook me up.
Super Bowl Sunday are you kidding me, the guy’s not going to show that’s a safer bet than either the Steelers, known as the Squeelers to some or worse, and the Cardinals, not sure what there derogatory nickname is, I guess ask one of their immediate rivals down south there and they’re sure to have some doosies.
    Anyways… entering the black out zone here goes nothing, pulling the plug [now…] in 5… 4… 3… 2… 1 3/4… 1 1/2…
    Go Steelers.

Try not to waste to many brain cells this weekend you will need them for Monday lol!

I am not a sports fan so I might just have to watch the recaps to act like I know what I’m talking about:)

    Congrats on the new house!

That reminds me about the house, i got some new thick pile carpet, now two bedroom doors need buzz-sawed (read planed) on the bottoms so they can open and close properly. I hope there’s enough frame on the doors so I don’t shred them to pieces, I got a new to me house (vintage 1960 brick ranch) so I didn’t have anything on my todo lists like this, lol.
[note to self: don’t buzz-saw any digits, you’ll need them all for typing later.] tnx bye, still no update darn.

In St. Louis, the former home of the Cardinals before they decamped to Arizona, they’re known as the Desert Rats. Still, as a St. Louisan still swooning over the Greatest Show on Turf I’m partial to Kurt Warner—so I’m for the Rats!

@ Brendon yeah I hear ya, being closest to the Cleveland area, the Baltimore Ravens - Ex-Browns have never been to popular around here. But beings how bad the Brownies season turned out this year, I think even the Ravens got more respect.

The cable guy showed up, what do you know about that, it took over five hours for the install. Maybe I could of built a website quicker than that w/EE and some tlc, lol.
Actually it went pretty smooth, bring on the Bowl Game. Did I mention P-burgher B. Roethlisberger is from the county seat here in Findlay, OH. That created a few bandwagon fans around here. Maybe the Brownies can turn it around next year, ya never know.

So dude’s (me in 3rd person) going to have a laptop and wireless network, time to get coding some project and get a real site on the board. Thanks all for putting up with me.

I live in Akron and I seriously hope the Browns can turn it around this year…it was such a disappointing season!! :( Oh well, hopefully the new GM and HC can put some fire back into the organization!
