And I just noticed that you’d just noticed 😉 Thanks for the tip-off.
It’s good to see. Be nice if they resurrected some of the old content to go on the site. There was some useful stuff there.
This is an archived forum and the content is probably no longer relevant, but is provided here for posterity.

I’m kinda baffled none of the old content made the grade for the archive, I had a few articles bookmarked back in the days.

From twitter sounds as though some of it may be coming back

I was also hoping for archives to come back.

Very nice to find.
And another vote for the Archives—there are some very useful items you can find on Google, but not yet there.
Best regards

Jamie just twittered up that he’s starting to publish the old archives. Not to fear then, everything’s probably still in an ancient install somewhere abouts.
It looks like the old posts will be chronologically ordered with the original publish date so that is cool, the new stuff stays at the top.
Thought ya’all’d want to know.
Off topic, it was sort of amazing how long jambor-ee held it’s place in the Google rankings even when the site was down. World domination can’t be far behind now, welcome back to the the Jam 😊

That’s right, I will gradually republish the old articles over the next week or so if they are still relevant enough.
I’ve a responsibility to the person who wrote the article as well as anyone reading them though. The articles are 2 years old and may describe an out-of-date way of doing things for example which, if people don’t understand the history, could look bad on the writer and confuse new readers.

Really pleased to see this site up… it seems to be stuff of legend, but ever since I’ve become part of the EE community it has always been out of action.
Im already digging the first set of new articles - really good stuff. Sounds like teh Archived articles will be popular. I will definitely be keeping an eye out!
