default Font Change

    I am using the default template and like the change the font for the postings/publications. write now they look like Times New Roman and some users have indicated that it is hard to read. What are the choices? where do you change it. Any suggestion as a good font? I am using the latest version of EE

    Just change the CSS to your liking, as you would on any regular website. This is not an EE issue as such, so let me move this over to the CSS & Design forum.

    I am using the latest EE. I need to change the font that is used to display articles/posting.
    Where do I go to change it? currenty I am using the default template, and the articles are displayed with a font looking like Time New Roman.
    I appreciate the Help

    Log into the control panel for the website your ammending.

    Go to Templates and then select the default template_group (i think it’s called “site”) from the left column. Then in the right column select the CSS file which I think is “site_css”.

    In here you can change the you will need to find “font-family” for the sections your changing. If the font currently is Times New Roman you should see it written next to font-family. Write a suitable font name to replace the current one.

    For legibility I would suggest Helvetica, Verdana or Arial (or put all three in separated by comma’s).

    If your unsure of how to write CSS, this is what you will need.

    font-family: Helvetica, Verdana, Arial;

    I can’t really help you anymore than that.
