I’m glad it’s here, but the “Upgrade Selected Licenses” button isn’t working after I’ve selected the EE 1.x and Forum Module upgrade.
Anybody got an answer for that??

...and it worked in FireFox, though, so I’ll blame IE 8 on that. Ok, WOOHOO!

Trying to install locally. MAMP OSX. Install screen comes up blank. Looks like index.php is encoded in zend? I checked all the permissions, everything should work.
Same here on my Debian development box. The index.php/bootstrapper is crypted, so I will stay on 1.68. Its a pity…
Great job making this release unusable! LOL
After all that talk of running into a small problem, they release a product that can’t even be installed.

You can install it on a LAMP system with ZEND Optimizer installed. Too much trouble for me and poor usability for many users and clients on shareds hosts without the option to install the module?

I assume the files are encrypted to stop people using the trial forever.
but how do i get zend working with W/XAMP etc?
#22 / Dec 02, 2009 5:22pm
Encryption only affects the Trial version. The full version is not encrypted in any way. The trial is meant to replace both the hosted demo and EE Core, so to speak.

How do we make this work in MAMP

I am not familiar with MAMP, sorry. You will need to install Zend Optimizer. Most servers support it, certainly professionally hosted ones.

MAMP comes with zend optimizer. I don’t think their files are good.

We’ve setup a support forum specifically for the 30-day Trial that you can now post to.
