Bug #23521 Clarification Requested

Exception in preview when adding preview URL

Version: 4.1.1 Reporter: Thomas Hartmann

When I set a preview URL for a channel I get a blank frame as the preview with the following error message:

{"error":"Unable to load the requested class: rte_lib"}

If I set no URL, the home page loads but there are EE tags in the output, so the template rendering doesn’t seem to work fully.

  • Hi Thomas,

    I can’t replicate your error when previewing, with or without an RTE field. Can you export your Channel Set and make the .zip available for me to download?

    If I set no URL, the home page loads but there are EE tags in the output, so the template rendering doesn’t seem to work fully.

    Can you clarify? If you don’t have a preview URL, then no preview button or link will be available. Do you mean that just visiting your web site’s front end isn’t rendering any tags?

  • I have the same issue. Channel with one field (type Bloqs). As soon as I add content to the Bloqs field, I get the mentioned error message.

  • Bloqs is a third-party field, @vf2016, have you checked with the developer of that field for an update with Live Preview compatibility?
