Using the publish tool I enter the number ‘23’ into a text input field that has been defined as an Integer. Once I click ‘Submit’ I expect the entry to save as normal. Instead I get the following error:
—-
A PHP Error was encountered
Severity: Notice
Message: Undefined property: Content_publish::$validation
Filename: fieldtypes/ft.text.php
Line Number: 41
Fatal error: Call to a member function integer() on a non-object in /home/miclient/public_html/ee2/system/expressionengine/fieldtypes/ft.text.php on line 41

I’m temporarily working around the issue by changing the Field Content to ‘Any’.
