Spicer Matthews is an investor by day and a computer geek by night. Spicer started his career as a geek focusing primarily on Unix type operating systems, open source software, and just about anything else he found “cool” or helpful in his everyday life. While he spends a great deal of his time focusing on equity and real estate investments he is often working on web project. He really would like to see all the software deployed web applications (with in reason). He feels it is the best platform to distribute and maintain software. As an investor he is always looking at “Geek” stuff from the perspective of how can one profit from this. He tends to find things “cool” that can be converted to profit later. However, still a big supporter of open source software. There is a way to profit and be open source.
