    Hello everybody,

    We’ve been developing an extensive survey module for EE2.0 and thought it was about time to let the community know about it. We’ll post a detailed feature list soon, but hopefully for now a few screen shots will suffice.

    Additionally, we are looking for a handful of beta testers. Ultimately this will be a commercial module, so we would like to iron out as many kinks as we can before a public release. Send us a PM if your interested. Thanks!

    i was wondering when one of these might show up! or more hoping! Although i expected it to be an API integration rather than a fully fledged solution.
    Happily run through some demo installations and tests for you.

    What is the stability of the beta release? Can it be used on a commercial application or are you targeting more alpha style testing? Would love to use this on a multi-page survey we are thinking about using Wufoo on.

    What’s the latest with this module? Is it something that could also be used for online courses where people need to answer different types of question, i.e. plain text, true/false, multiple choice?

    Thank you everybody for your interest. Some of you have been alpha testing our first build, and so we are still waiting on feedback to finalize the release while trying to squeeze in any highly requested features. While we have tested it a lot on our end, we have a limited testing environment and wouldn’t recommending using it in any important production sites just yet.

    @Tyssen
    The module has lots of different question types, and the surveys can be locked down by user group and email, so it could theoretically be used for an online learning application. Presently though, the module doesn’t include any kind of mechanism for having “right and wrong” responses, and doesn’t provide any way for test takers to review their responses after the survey is over. We are hoping to package these features into a similar module geared directly towards course quizzes/tests once the survey module is in a stable state.

    Thanks again everybody!

    I wouldn’t need that for this situation. All ‘marking’ would be done via an admin after the exam was submitted.

    Hello,

    Do you guys have any idea when this will be released and what the cost will be? I have an upcoming project that requires something similar to what you are working on.

    Like most of the above, i’m also interested in trying out such a module, any timeframe for a beta release?

    Looks very promising.

    Hi all. We checked in with Tinyfoot because we didn’t want to hijack his thread but there seemed to be a lot of request in here that 4-eeQuiz was built for.  He gave us his blessing due to a pause in their development of the Survey module and the fact that 4-eeQuiz might be the solution some of you are looking for.

    See our thread here or visit our site 4-eeQuiz for more info.

    Thanks,
    4-ee Team
