    Hello,

I’m trying to decide if EE is the right choice for a content collaboration system for website development.

In my research, standard wiki functionality covers most of the functionality I need, i.e. track changes, rollback, compare versions …. I also need to be able to display a TOC, or sitemap structure. http://www.versionate.com and http://www.wikispaces.com come close, but each system lacks in their own ways.

I’ve been playing around with EE for a little while and think it may be able to meet my needs. I have not however been able to try the EE wiki module yet.

A typical content team that would need to use this system includes client (content writer(s) and editors), AE and developer. I do not expect everybody to write with wiki syntax so WYSIWYG functionality is important.

Does the wiki module for EE support WYSIWYG entry? or can EE itself be configured to perform these functions?

    Thanks,
    Mike

Hi, Mike - welcome to the forums! I have not yet seen someone put out a WYSIWYG that works with the wiki; can it be done? Certainly, in the wiki template you’d have to integrate the WYSIWYG of your choice.

As for the TOC, there is a plugin for that.  You can find it here and you can see it in use on our wiki.

I’d say give it a shot and see what you think.

I’ll give that a try. Thanks.
