I’m jacking in 6 years as a developer, I’m tired of IE CSS bugs. Time to pursue an unscrupulous career in internet marketing where web standards don’t matter a toss and the pays better.

6 years of painstakingly adhering to web standards have taken their toll, I’m tired of this sh*t. Its meaningless.

    This is pickledegg. Signing off.

EDIT, anyone else ever had days like this? 😛

Loads! Back in days of old where I was my own master, I’d just say “Scew IE6” and get on with my day. Now I am another man’s minion I have no choice in the matter and spend hours re-writing the same CSS rules to make them work for everyone.

    Oh joy…

Idiots… That is all I will say! They snuck in a update to one of their templates my company was using, applying a class=“blue” to the body tag. No idea why, it added nothing for the rest of their sites, but for us it made the entire page think it was a blue button!

Oh the fools… We chucked in a css fix for the rules, but guess what, failed on IE6!  😏
