jquery in EE

    hey, I was just wondering if theres any special way of linking Jquery into an EE template.

    I have uploaded it into my http_public folder and linked it using

    [removed][removed]

    the page doesn’t have any of the javascript effects which I have coded on to it.

    NOt sure what you’re trying to accomplish, but adding jQuery to EE is rather straightforward. Park a link to jQuery in the <head>.

    (script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.2.6/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript">jQuery Minimized</script)

    That makes it easy and the bandwidth is courtesy of Google.

    Hi Ronnie,  yeah thats how i’ve been doing it.  but for some reason even though it all worked while working locally on my machine, now that i’ve uploaded it, the jquery stuff on the page isn’t working

    Do you have a link to your page?  As long as it’s added correctly, what Ronnie suggests will work.

    ah ha! after pasting it back into Textmate I picked up sotmhing coz of code highlighting and figured it out.
