Moderator’s note: Threads merged. Not need to double post.

I’m getting quite frustrated trying to get SAEFs to work with a site a working on so I thought I’d look for some help. I’ve setup a new page and have added the base SAEF from the docs, I’ve made sure the page validates properly and I’m logged in as a superadmin. I’ve tried removing the {formatting_buttons} tag but no matter what I try when I click submit I’m shown a blank page and no entry has been made. The preview function works correctly.

    EE Version: 1.6.6
    Build: 20081114

I read a few threads that suggested a possible issue with PHP’s memory limit but it’s set to 80M, so I’m completely puzzled.

    PHP 5.1.7 under Apache/2.0.52

Any and all thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

A blank page is quite often a sign of a suppressed memory. Can you turn on PHP errors, see if that helps is narrow it down?
