    Hey all

I know my title might be a little confusing, but I’ve got a pretty straightforward question: I need to start working on a new app and since I formatted my comp I need to download a clean CI install (only got tampered with ones). However, I glanced over the bug list and saw that some 1.7.0 bugs were being fixed in SVN.

So now I’m wondering: what’s the best CI version to download: 1.7.0 from the mainpage, or 1.7.0 from SVN?

    Or the previous 1.6.x version.

I’m not considering an older version when there’s a newer stable version released personally. Certainly not now with the new sessions and form validation library. I was just wondering: has the SVN 1.7.0 version more bugs fixed than the regular download?

As of right now the differences are almost all bug fixes (and a few typography tweaks).  And there are issues with query escaping that are fixed in SVN, which by itself is a good reason to use the trunk version.

So the trunk SVN version and the download version are not the same, the trunk being the better. Thanks, that’s all I needed to know!

I guess I’d to wait until 1.7.1 is released then upgrade my project since it won’t be out in a few months :|
