This question may be related to a resolved thread.

    My error message:
Warning: Wiki::require(/home/ebohboh9/public_html/themes/wiki_themes/default/default.php) [wiki.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/ebohboh9/public_html/MYSYSTEMDIR/modules/wiki/mod.wiki.php on line 319

    Fatal error: Wiki::require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/ebohboh9/public_html/themes/wiki_themes/default/default.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php’) in /home/ebohboh9/public_html/MYSYSTEMDIR/modules/wiki/mod.wiki.php on line 319

Unlike the answer to the related thread post, my themes config is correct (other, non-wiki pages work just fine on my site).

Any ideas what else could cause the error?

Definitely sounds like a themes issue (and the wiki themes are separate, so other pages displaying fine does not rule this out). So make sure the themes are actually there, and permissions are fine.

Yep,checked, double checked, triple checked. Themes folder there with the rest of them and the permissions the exact same as the other folders, 755.

have you made changes to the wiki themes yet?  If not, can you grab a fresh copy of the wiki themes folder & replace the one currently on your server?

Also, what version/build of ExpressionEngine are you running?

downloaded and installed (upgraded) to EE 1.6.5 Build 20081024. did NOT use wiki before this release. simply uploaded the wiki theme to server from downloaded EE source code.

You are sure that your “theme folder path” in CP Home ›  Admin ›  System Preferences ›  General Configuration is correct?

not sure how many ways i have to say YES, config is correct, but for the third time…yes, config is correct. the CP wouldn’t display correctly if it were not configured correctly…even changed the path just to verify.

Hi, ebohling - I am sorry that you are frustrated but this is the process we go through and there are several things to check along the way.

One of those things is to check config.php - let’s make sure that the themes directory is correctly reflected there.  It should be, as it is proper in your General Config, but it’s good to double (or triple) check.

Another thing to check is to navigate to /themes/wiki_themes/default/ and make sure the file “default.php” is actually present since that is what it can’t seem to find.  There may have been some file corruption in transport so it would be good to re-upload those files just in case, as well.

Check all that and let us know if it helps.  Thank you.

actually i am the one that is sorry…i am frustrated with me not being able to figure this out, so i was flippant…my bad. i’m checking with my ISP since they (AN Hosting) are notorious for weird configs.

While you await their response, you might also check your /system/config.php to make sure the themes value is updated there. =)

Keep us posted on your progress!

well, the good news is that everything is working now. the bad news is…i don’t know why. i did absolutely nothing and the ISP said they didn’t do anything. the wiki template (index) did not have caching turned on, so i am totally baffled.

We’re glad too that everything is working again. Don’t hesitate to post again if needed.
