Hello,
is it possible to hide a certain Weblog from the Publish Tab?
The weblog is used for a static page so “edit” is the only way to change it.
Thanks Tom

Not stock- assuming you do want them to be able to edit it as well. I believe this would be a good case for an extension. I didn’t spot one in the extensions forum, but I’m not sure what search criteria would pull something like that back, so it may be worth taking a look.
It is a case where they need access to edit the entries in that weblog- correct?

Hi Robin,
thanks. Yes, that’s correct, they should be able to edit.
Would be a nice usability feature for 2.0.

Mark Huot has a hidden weblog extension; but it has not been updated in a long time, so I am not sure if it still works. Would be a starting point, at least.
You can also submit a feature request in the Feature Request forum. =)
Does that help?

Lisa, the plugin still works and it’s just what I needed. Thanks.

😉 Glad Lisa has a memory like a steel trap! If you run into any more issues, just start a new thread and we’ll take a look.
