It actually runs ubuntu right now, but maybe i’ll tinker with xubuntu.

Awesome Idea. I will give this a try.
I’ve already found what I think are some pretty good resources to accomplish this and read a few success stories with my hardware, but does anyone with experience have any tips/advice/links?
btw, it is a dell inspiron 2200
