    Hi folks,

I’m needing pagination for the first time, and the default EE implementation aint doing it for me.

I read that hacking the core is pretty much the only way to customise the pagination output - has anything been improved of late?

Is there a plugin/extension which is more configurable?

    Cheers.

    Hi Wayde,

Well first of all can you let us know what you want to do with pagination perhaps? 😉

What exactly can’t you do with the standard pagination tags that you want to be able to do?

    Best wishes,

    Mark

I want to customise the output. You know, add some tags, classes etc. If we’re on page 3, I want a class of “current” applied to a tag. That kinda thing.

    Cheers 😊

You could take a look at the Bystrom Pagination extension. From what I remember (if memory serves me correctly) that was quite configurable.

I’m sure it should at least give some ideas of how to go about coding your own if it doesn’t quite do everything you need though.

    Hope that helps a bit.

    Best wishes,
