I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction, or lend me a few snippets on the following:

When comments are being moderated, the default action of EE seems to redirect to a generic EE styled “Your comment has been submitted for Moderation” and then redirects back to the original article page.

Where would I find this generic page to style it?

/or/

Is it possible to not redirect to this page, but rather, have a notification pop up under the comment form that the comment was submitted and is being moderated.

I guess my dream would be (and being so, I must dream small) that if a comment is submitted for moderation, a yellow box appears saying that action is taking place and then disappears after, say, 30 seconds. This I assume would involve some type of jQuery/Ajax type of scripting yes/no?

Could you hear my palm hit my forehead all the way from here? Of course, the one place I didn’t look but have for other items in the past. I’m still learning how EE is setup, though, I would like to think I’m learning fast.

Now to look into how to not redirect to that page then redirect again back to the original page. I’d love to get it to appear in the original page with out a redirect… reload is ok, I’d just rather not jump through two redirects.

Currently the redirect is non-negotiable.  I think there are feature requests to change that; you could find one and add your support. =)

Lisa, thanks so much. Given this isn’t a deal breaker, I think I’ll be able to live with it, or possibly turn moderation off. 😊 I’m still toying around with things at the moment. Over-all I am very glad I *finally* made the switch to EE (after casually mucking around in a local install of it for over a year) and purchased my own license a few days ago.

Now, back to my CSS… Mmmmm.

Lisa, is it possible to display the number of comments awaiting moderation ?
