I think I am having the same problem as .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

I was told to create a new post, so we don’t get things mixed up.

I was having the same login problem this morning. By chance, I deleted all my cookies last night, and this AM, I couldn’t log in.

I haven’t logged out in a long time, so the cookie for my site was probably very old, but I think I figured out that the recent change was when I added .myblog.com to the System Preferences -> Cookie Settings.

I think the problem I was having was that my EE files are located under a different domain than my blog.

I changed the cookie setting to the domain where the EE files are, and that worked. Then I removed the cookie setting all together, and that worked as well. But it does not allow login if I use my blog domain as the cookie setting.

I am wondering now, if it’s that important to use a cookie setting, or can I just leave it blank. Or if I use the other domain (not my blog domain) will it mess things up for my blog domain cookies.

    Thanks!!!!

You can leave the cookie domain just blank, if that works for you. It’s the default, actually.
