I’m using the simple file upload extension for the SAEF, but my client just pointed out to me that in the PUBLISH section of the control panel when you click file upload, it’s the simple upload form instead of the normal full file upload form. I thought the simple upload form was just for the SAEF and not the control panel. Am I wrong in that or is the simple file upload form affect everything?

Yes, the simple file upload is to be used for SAEFs. Perhaps you are using some other extension? Also, what version and build are you on?
