    I am trying to use and understand the Gallery module and am having problems.  I have uploaded (2) images for testing in a “personal” category.  I can see those file off of the images/gallery/personal area using my ftp client but when I click on “Visit Gallery” all I get is a “No input file specified”.  On setup I set the name of the gallery to be “gallery1”.

    I set the variable at the top of my gallery/index page as follows: {assign_variable:gallery_name="gallery1"}

    Has anybody run across this or know of any gallery tutorials?  Just trying to learn the basics here about how to use the Gallery module.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Do you’ve got a link to your site? What version and build are you running? “No input file specified” might mean that you have to firce query strings. This KB article might be helpful.

    Currently it is a development site.  The main url is http://www.redcatdesignstudios.com/ce while the “visit gallery” button tries to load http://www.redcatdesignstudios.com/ce/index.php/gallery/index.  The site is hosted at godaddy.  Only a bare default template was used and no data is loaded yet.  Again, just started to play around with the Gallery module.  I just purchased, downloaded and installed without problem this afternoon (version 1.6.4).  My other (2) EE sites were no problem.  On my last site, I captured image urls in custom fields and then displayed to my own template.  Wanted to try it the correct way this time.

    Thanks

    mhancock, you will definitely need to force query strings with an account on Godaddy. The link Ingmar pointed to will help you get that set up correctly.

    But that’s just a part of the problem.

    When you set up the gallery, you’re asked to name a field group to use with the gallery. Did you set that part up?
