    Hi Guys,

I’m experiencing the weirdest problem ever!  Last night my laptop was low on battery and shut off prematurely.  When I turned it back on, images on IE and Firefox started looking fuzzy, as if the colors were low quality (256/16bit) or is very compressed.  The strange this is on Opera, it looks fine.  I thought it was some compression thing, by my isp, but it doesn’t seem like that.  So weird.  Anyone experienced this before?

    I hope i don’t have to reformat :(

The best thing you can do here is complete uninstall firefox and reinstall and try it. In case if it works fine you can do the same with Internet Explorer. If you still have IE6 on windows xp you can use the following site to reinstall IE6
    http://www.theeldergeek.com/repair_reinstall_ie_and_oe_6.htm
    Hope this helps.
    Have a good day !!!

Hi Sarfaraz!  Thanks for the Quick Reply.  I already uninstalled firefox, but the problem is still there.  This thread seems to be experiencing the same problem http://www.wpdfd.com/forums/wpdfd/browsers/poor_quality_images_in_ie/  but the solution that worked for them isn’t working for me (96 DPI and UseHR to 0).  This is so strange.

Are they all of one type?  Only gif?  Or are they all three types jpeg and png included?

All images.  Opera displayed em fine.  I think it’s my stupid ISP.  They might be compressing my images like vodaphone because when i right click on the images it all goes through this IP http://62.0.5.129 which is weird.
