I have (1) paid copy of EE that I was going to use for a website that I have already started making templates for but want to use it for another now and just have the core functions on the first site.

Is there a way to downgrade the site to just the core and keep the templates and relationships that are already in the DB?

Export the DB and import after a fresh install of the core only maybe?

    If you delete:

    core/
    cp/
    db/
    modules/

and replace those folders with the respective folders from core, you will be downgraded. No need to export the database (except for making a backup, which is always a good idea.)

    Awesome!

That’s as easy as it gets, thanks!

I’d suggest cashing in your pop cans to get Multiple Site Manager, and keep the set up you already have. One control panel to access both your sites alone is worth the cash.
