Is the weblog parameter of exp:weblog:categories supposed to take multiple weblogs, as in weblog=“weblog_a|weblog_b”?

No- need a single weblog in there.  (It will show multiple cat groups if they’re all assigned to that weblog.)

Bummer. In other words, I’d have to emulate that behavior using exp:query and/or php?

Or use multiple cat tags- which is what I’d do.  Unless the list is only one level deep, getting those nested cats is a bear.  Could add a feature request as well.  But for a ‘now’ solution- I’d go with multiple tags unless I really had no choice in the matter.

There’s no nesting or it can flattened. Either way, for my purposes it probably makes more sense to not only use multiple tags, but to put them on different templates.

    I’ll think about a feature request 😊

Great. Closing this thread for now, simply start a new one when needed.
