Our crazy web host (startlogic, don’t use them!) “overhauled” their system and they moved our site/account on to one of their new servers. Things looked good on the surface of our site until i started drilling down into more of our pages.

It looks like wherever i use {page_url} and {path} variables in my templates, what gets written in the codes is some weird text.

Go to http://discoverhv.com/ministries/ and view source on any of the links. The link that should be written to “Administration” should be “/ministries/administration”.

As i said, this all happened after switching servers. Any help would be great since about half of our links are down. Thanks!

Did you fix it? Working fine for me now. Nothing out of the ordinary at all.

That’s very odd, i didn’t change anything. I’ve found another page w/ it though… http://discoverhv.com/podcast/ try one of the pagination links at the bottom. You’ll see a bunch of “S=blahblahblah” in the href.

Dang, that’s weird. I swore it was throwing out some weird code earlier. Anyhow, looks like it’s fixed for now. I’ll let you know if anything else pops up. Thanks!

Ahh… i see it only happens when a member is logged in. If you’re not logged in, the dynamic links work fine. Again, it only happens w/ internal page variables like {page_url} {path} or {homepage}

At- if it’s adding something along the lines of “S=blahblahblah”?  That looks like a session id- and it would only show to logged in folks (basically the means of showing they’re logged in).  In ‘Admin- System Prefs- Security’ make sure that frontend security is set to cookies only.

I’ve also seen weirdness with phpmyadmin adding some word get data on occasion, so something happening in the move is not impossible.  But given the nature of this one- I’m betting on it boiling down to ‘sessions’ being used frontend.
