Well, after updated to the latest EE version (20080626) I found that I completely loose ability to post images and links to my Wiki using HTML syntax. For example, I’m trying to place next code into my wiki page:

    <a href="http://www.example.com/">Go to Example.com</a>

After publishing an article in wiki all I’ve got is nonworking link with the source:

    <a >Go to Example.com</a>

Everything else just cutting out from the code somehow. Before updating everything was OK, and I did not change anything in CP. And yes, in Wiki’ module I’ve got “Allow ALL HTML”. What should I do now and is there a way to reupdate to previous version of EE?

alex7, are you using one of the default wiki templates, or have you created your own? I can replicate your problem with a virtually unchanged template.

I’m using absolutely unchanged template and nothing work. It’s cutting out HTML code every time when I save article. If I’m using “Preview” button, then everything OK, but after saving – HTML code is gone nowhere.

Thank you, Sue! For now I can use a way around ‘cause syntax still working, but I prefer HTML ‘cause it allow much more complex formating, especially images. Well… look forward for this bug will be fixed. 😛

Yes, using pmCode for now would be your best option. This will continue to work, even after changes are made to allow regular HTML style links as well.

I just found that not only wiki affected by this bug, but virtually everything. Current version off EE is cutting out HTML code everywhere – in wiki, in forum, in blog’ comments… Oh, well… I wait in vain for update. 😛

What exactly do you mean by “cutting off HTML code”? You might consider upgrading to the latest build, by the way, it fixed a number of issues in that context.

In all honesty, the devs have been working on that (not so) secretly for a few days, but I sure am glad it solves the issue for you. As you say, time to close this one out 😊
