I am excited about the new features in v2, but the upgrade seems to focus on the backend (the experience of the admins) and on the already strong CMS capabilities.
Will the forums be supported in v2? Will they receive any love or better integration?
Also, is EE2 releasing this year?
(yes, I’ve checked out the EE2 preview page)

Hi Jim,
Not too sure what is happening with the Forum software but they have mentioned that EE 2.0 will be out in the Summer of 2008.
