I’ve been using a set of customized member templates, but I’ve run into a problem in that I also need to restrict access to the membership directory to members only.  Although the link won’t appear unless one is logged in, I also don’t want the membership directory to display unless one is logged even if one knows the normal URL.  I don’t see a way to do that unless I switch everything to regular EE templates, where I can set access privileges.

Is this correct?  Or, is there a workaround?  TIA.

Under Admin > Members and Groups > Member Groups set “Can view public profiles” accordingly for the “Guest” group. Does that help?

    Ingmar,

Sorry for the delay, but being without power forced this onto the back burner, so to speak.

Yes, this is what I was talking about. Sorry about the dumb question! I have set privileges for membership groups that I created, but didn’t think to look at what was set for the “guest” group! :-(

    Thanks!
