I would like to enable members the ability to delete their comments, if they wish. It’s my understanding, they would need to do this within the control panel, by giving them access.

Does anyone know of a way to enable this functionality within the site’s UI? Just a simple delete link next to their comment.

Ideally, it would be nice feature to include in the Edit Comments plugin, but I’m not a programmer.

I’ve used that plugin before. In fact if you visit the page it is on then you will see I commented first. It is a great plugin but as far as I am aware it is only for deleting entries and not individual comments.

Pretty sure it should be possible to create a plugin to do this with comments though I would think.

I could be wrong on that though?

You are correct, seems I miss-read the post. My apologies sapid.

This would be possible to add to the Edit Comments plugin; we’ll consider this a feature request for that functionality for a future version.

Thanks for the responses. I’ll keep an eye out for the functionality. Hopefully it will be included in a future release of a plugin or module.
