Today I installed Stuffed Tracker onto the same domain that EE is on, configured the Stuffed Tracker Cookies and then tried to log into the EE admin area, it turns out the only way I could login was by using

$conf['admin_session_type'] = "s";

From this I assume that the cookies conflict so I logged in added a prefix of ee to the prefix section in EE and cleared my cookies then removed the above code. It still doesn’t work, can EE run side by side with another program like Stuffed Tracker?

oxygensolutions, I don’t have any information on Stuffed Tracker. Have you tried contacting them about possible issues with cookies?

In the mean time, you can certainly run the CP with sessions only.

As long as its not a security issue and won’t effect the general running of the site I will run it like that for the time being and see what they have to say.

When I switch the forum module on will it effect user logging as when originally running vb I didn’t encounter any problems.

It worked fine, however ive just uninstalled stuffed tracker and cleared cookies and im still unable to login which is very strange.

Clear all caches as well.

Cleared EE Cache, removed that extra bit and can now login without any problems.

Im going to add ee before the cookie for ee and then reinstall stuffed tracker and see what happens. (Will ensure I clear cache at each stage. Will update you all tomorrow.
