Maybe it could become handy if it’s possible to make a list of forbidden screen- & usernames. For my community, I don’t want new users to have names like admin/administrator/etc.

It already does have that functionality. Go to CP › Admin › Members and Groups › User Banning and fill out “Restricted Usernames” and/or “Restricted Screen Names”.
