I’ve Tried and I’ve Tried and I Can’t Show All Categories!

    This is kind of driving me crazy, but I bet it’s something really, really obvious. I’ve searched until my searchin’ fingers grew weary, but to no avail.

    How do I show all my blog categories in the sidebar? I’ve tried this:

    {exp:weblog:categories weblog="notes"}
        {category_name}
        ({count})
      {/exp:weblog:categories}

    ...and several variations, but no luck. I just see one bullet and a (1) in there. I can see there’s at least a dozen categories, and most of my posts are in categories (it shows that in the main entry, on the page)... but in the sidebar, I don’t see anything!

    Is there some trick to listing all categories on my blog’s “index” page?

    Hi, brigleb - I’ve moved this down to Technical Support for you.  Do you happen to be on 1.6, or were these categories added in 1.6?  Please try this wiki entry - it can’t hurt and it may help.
