From within the reverse_related_entries tag, I can find out from which weblog (or ‘section’ as I like to call weblogs) the backlinked entry originated from (by using {weblog_short_name}), but is there any way to find out which *field* in that particular weblog created the link?
I’ll try to explain why I need this: I’m trying to implement a multilingual website by adding a “Dutch translation” and a “French translation” field to all of my weblogs that are configured as “Related to entry” fields, but I also have a “Related to…” field in my weblogs. An ideal situation would be when people only have to choose one relationship (from one language to another) and the reverse link works automatically (I have implemented two language links in my templates). The problem is: if I can’t find out from which ‘field’ the entry originated, I can never be sure whether it’s the language link or not…
I hope this make sense, because it’s hard to explain 😊
