    Hey Expression Engine folks,
I hope everyone is having a jolly good time designing and developing!

I know at Squared Eye, times have never been so busy, or so exciting.

I’ve been a busy bee working up some seriously exciting stuff for
designers. Many of you may have been following my flickr interface collection.
Flickr is a great tool, but its lack of focus on interface led me to work some
design kung fu of my own.

    It’s called Pattern Tap

It will be the best place on the web to explore the best design patterns and
solutions around. You’ll be able to follow specific types of patterns or make
a set of your own favorite design solutions from “the tap”.

Its under development, but we’re too excited to keep this thing under wraps. Come watch
it be developed and be there when the curtains open!

    Hi Mark!
I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. You’ll see screenshots of the design to tantalize soon 😊

This isn’t developed with EE, but with EE’s close friend Code Igniter. I hope Pattern Tap will be the
best friend of designers everywhere. And as mentioned on the sign up page, perhaps even stop wars 😉

    Look forward to more!

    Matthew

By the way is this site going to be free to use or are you charging? If not charging then are you hoping to make revenue out of it and if so how?

    Best wishes,

    Mark

Hey Matthew, the site looks like it has the potential to be really cool, and we love that it’s been built on tools from EllisLab, but to avoid the appearance that we’re condoning forum spam, I would ask that you make this the last week that you bump this thread here in the Lounge.  Also, I don’t see a post from you in the CI forums about your site, nor submitted to the Built on CodeIgniter projects section, which you are certainly welcome to use!
