I see several variations of coverflow photo display out there and thought it will really be nice to have one work with a EE project. Implementation has however been a headache, but I guess someone over here has already done it or has a firm knowledge of how this can work with EE.

One version I like and which works with lightbox2 is here http://www.yaelle.com/?p=61I’ve tried to get it to work in EE but this is what I got http://www.charisbaptistchurch.com/charisworld/index.php/mycharis/gallery/ - a complete blank page.

I have photos in the images directory. There’s an xml file listing the photos as well as javascript files and a swfobject file.

The challenge is how to reference all these files in a EE template for it to work.

I’ll be every grateful if someone could take a look at http://www.yaelle.com/?p=61 and advice on how best this can be implemented for EE.

The first thing I have noticed is that the references to your javascripts are incorrect. They actually reside at :

http://www.charisbaptistchurch.com/javascript/scriptaculous/flashShadowboxInjector.js
http://www.charisbaptistchurch.com/javascript/scriptaculous/prototype.js
http://www.charisbaptistchurch.com/javascript/scriptaculous/shadowbox-prototype.js
http://www.charisbaptistchurch.com/javascript/scriptaculous/scriptaculous.js?load=effects

Most of the time when you have problems with Flash and EE it always points to file references so I would get all of those working first and then see what you get.

Also try making this outside of EE first and see if you can get it working. Things are always much easier when you can see it working first before trying to get it working in a dynamic environment.
