I know that I can create and manage different sites with MSM.
    But I need something different.

Is it possible to serve the same content with different domains.
    Example:
    http://www.domain-x.com
    http://www.domain-y.fr
    http://www.domain-z.de

All of them will show the same site in different languages.
Mostly the content will not be translated. Only the labels will be translated.
There is a requirement to have different brands for the same project in different countries.
We can say that the domain name will be the parameter the language and country.

With the same brand (domain) we would have something like this:
    http://www.domain.com/en/
    http://www.domain.com/fr/
    http://www.domain.com/de/

Could you please tell me if something like this is possible with EE?

As we enter the full url in a lot of configuration settings, it seems to be not possible.

    Thanks!

    p.s.
Buying MSM is not a problem, if it is possible with it.

Check out the wiki for different ways of approaching a multi-language site.  This one sounds really simple- I’d probably go with a domain for each language- as per old style subdomain setup.  So- you have a path.php and an index.php in each subfolder.  You can specify the base url as well as global variables for the subdomain inside the path.php.  Then if you need different labels on stuff?  You use path globals to do it.

    Is easy.

    Hi Robin,

    Thank you for the help!

I will try the second way that you suggested sometime this week.

    It seems really easy.
