Hello,

I have been been uploading photos via the photo gallery module for a couple weeks now, my setting remain the same as they did before. Today I tried uploading some new photo’s and I get this message “An error of an unknown type was encountered.” ..I thought this was just a fluke or glitch, so I logged out, restarted browser to see if that fixed it.. Still didn’t work. I tried uploading a very small photo to any one of my galleries and got the same result.

Has anyone ran into this before? The photo gallery just stops working?

What version and build of EE are you on, and have you tried any other images?

Hey Lisa,

I am running version 1.6.2. I tried uploading new photo’s (smaller, larger, and same size) into different galleries and nothing worked. I checked my folder permissions on my server and those were still ok.

Any idea to why this would all of the sudden happen? Is there a default cap limit to gallery entires? I only have 4 galleries, each containing about 10 photos.

All of the sudden the Gallery is working. Very odd…. Have you ever heard of anything like this?
