Parsing an XML feed... is this possible?

Another issue that I am dealing with is trying to make my site and my already existing podcast feed to work together somehow. Our show has been podcasting for almost 2 years now, so I don’t want to change the location of my feed document. Entering in all of the existing XML data into the new EE site would also be redundant, but I want to be able to link to my podcast files easily from the EE site for people who are not subscribed to the podcast.

Is there a solution to this problem that a non-programmer like me can handle?

I might be misunderstanding what you’re looking for, but have you looked at the Magpie RSS/Atom Parser plug-in that comes installed with EE?

What do you want to link to exactly? or show
The files - enclosures, title, description…
It definitely can be done, ee has the magpie parser installed by default.

Thanks to you both - I’ll check out Magpie.

Searching using the terms “parse xml” never brought up a single document about magpie, so I had no idea what its functionality was.
