Hi,

In the ‘members and groups’ section of EE and I set up a member (I’ll call MemberA for now) and Im having MemberA update existing Blog Entries that Ive set up in my Admin account.

Now MemberA clicks the Edit tab and edits an entry and appears to work..  but when MemberA clicks ‘quicksave’ it sets the entry as CLOSED. He/She now has to manually OPEN that entry back up to have it show up in the website…

Any reason for this? I would like it to just remain open.
I have given that memberA access everything on control panel, blogs etc. through my admin acct.. Something I/m missing?? I would like to have them remain a ‘member’ Because I can turn off tabs that I dont want them to see. Make sense i Hope??

Hi, Joseph, you’ll need to make sure you have your status group assigned to the weblog.  See docs on Custom Entry Statuses and Docs on Weblog Groups.
