    Hi,
I hope someone can help me out?
I intalled TineyMCE into EE and it works great except for the fact that I get extra line breaks in the final rendered page. Also Ill get an extra P tag as well..

what is suppose to look like

    <h2>About Us</h2>

    <p>Content here. Here is content.<br />

Converts over to this in the published page (looks fine in edit page)...

    <h2>About Us</h2>

    <p>Content here. Here is content.</p>

    <p> </p>

    <p> </p>

    <p>

Anyone have this same problem? any solution?

    Thank you!

Set your formatting drop down box to “None” and problem is solved 😉

thanks, I tried that too and I still get the weird additional line breaks. I did notice this error on the ‘edit wcustom weblog fields page’ at the very to of the page ...

Notice: Undefined variable: field_type in /cms08/cp/cp.publish_ad.php on line 7308

    Anyone else get this?

I tried reinstalling tineyMCE and I get the same line breaks..

    Any other ideas???

    thanks!

Can you make sure you download the latest release of TinyMCE and update that as well? Also, are you running any other extensions?

    thanks!

The latest stable version.  If uncertain, try the main package. =)

    Hi, Thanks for you help!

I tried again from scratch and everything is working now. I think the problem was that I had an older version of the actual plugin for EE.

I googled for the latest and found

    http://leevigraham.com/cms-customisation/expressionengine/addon/lg-tinymce/

    That helped!

    Thanks

Glad you got it working =)  As a note, that is a different extension, than the first-party one. =)
