Uh oh..big mistake.  I deleted my primary css stylesheet and, of course, blew past the “warning, this cannot be undone” screen because I thought I was deleting the unneeded stylesheet from another template group…

Tell me there is a way to recover it…please.

I have a db backup from a few months ago, that prob has the stylesheet info in it somewhere, but I would not want to revert to that whole db, becuase much template work has been done, since then.  Is there a way to only pull the style_css template from that backup file?

    Thanks.

Okay…this is why we backup (and why I will now be doing it more frequently 😊

I was able to restore the old db dump/backup to a new, unrelated database via PHPmyAdmin.  Then find the template file, copy it, and past it into a new css template in my current site’s EE Control Panel.

Back in action, without too much loss.

Glad you got it squared away.  There are two ways I’d have gone at it- seen if I had a temp copy stored in the browser- and if I couldn’t find one, I’d have done what you did.  Restore the backup to a new db, go in and find the template and copy/paste it.

Glad you didn’t lose too much!
