    The license states:

    “you may not:
Use the Software as the basis of a hosted weblogging service, or to provide hosting services to others”

Does this mean I cannot use the software for the forums, knowledge base, and wiki, of a web hosting company?

The webhost billing will be a separate script…

    Thanks

That sounds more like a company site, not a blogging service like Blogger. The former is acceptable, the later not.

    Hi ZenStevens,

What you describe is a perfectly acceptable use of ExpressionEngine. The part of the license you reference would prevent you from distributing EE directly to your hosted clients or hosting them off a single installation of EE. Of course, your clients are welcome to use EE if they purchase a license from us. You can also setup an Affiliate account and earn money by referring your clients to us.
