At expressionengine.com when you select the “Add-on Architecture” tab and then click the “View Included Add-ons” it takes you to a page that generally talks about all add-ons available for free or purchase or download, but it doesn’t actually show you the included add-ons. I’m new to EE, and I’m genuinely trying to understand the scope of EE features, so I was hoping for a list of the actual included add-ons. Sort of a “what’s in the box” question.

Thanks for the feedback, tothemoon, though I don’t think that qualifies as a software bug. 😉

Can you clarify what you mean by “Add-on Architecture tab” and a “View Included Add-ons” link?  I don’t remember using that verbiage anywhere on the site, though I’m sure I could easily have forgotten a page.  For included modules, you can use the comparison chart on the pricing page which compares what is included with each license.

Hi Derek. Thanks for the reply.

Ha!  Thanks for the screenshot.  I turn 30 in a few days, so I think it must be old age…

Ah, missed that one. That helps. Though, it would be nice if those module names were clickable and went to the module description or something? Some things are self explanatory, but it would be nice to learn more about, say, the Pages module or Query module from one list of included items.

Pardon if it’s an odd question. It’s from the point of view of a newb.

Yeah, it’s all downhill from 30.
30 is the new 50.

The Modules section of the Add-On library lists the first party modules at the top, and the Features Page contains some information as well.  It’s a good point, though, that the chart does not link to this info, and we’ll likely take that suggestion and improve that page.  Thank you!

Oh, yeah, that helps. A linked list like that is what I was looking for. Thanks for the help!  *puts coin in tip jar*
