Hey everyone!

I’m back with another theme set for you EE users.  Danielrae had requested Salmon to be ported over to EE, and I took the long weekend to get it done.  I had a lot of fun doing this one and I’m fairly pleased with how it came out.

Head on over to the Salmon Theme Preview area of my site to give it a look.  Downloads for versions with and without trackbacks are available, so feel free to grab it and customize it to your liking!

That design is actually rather shiny.

It was always my favourite WP theme. In a past life, I used it with WP but completely changed the colour scheme. There was no salmon in my salmon theme!

I’ll be able to use it to publish a Site-Of-the-Day and add some other categories, building a feature set for the mother-app.
Wanting to add some header graphics before promoting the soft-launch, but so far A-ok!
Still need to roll-in the search and contact templates. 😊

Hi Chris, hey sentyou an email, your sites offline for a redesign, I was hoping to get to your wiki article on setting up the additional templates for the errors and search pages.
I found the templates in your download still available. I’ve got a knack for trying to work with offline resources, but your isn’t available via archive.org or anything :(

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.  Things have been a little upside down and inside out here.  I’ve re-posted all of the template instructions to my site (something I wanted to do straight away, but found myself short of time), so I hope that helps a bit.  Let me know if I can be of any help!

Hi Cd, hey thanks for the help, I can’t seem to find any comments_rss.tpl?
“To install the comment RSS template, follow these steps once you have Salmon installed:

  1. Repeat steps one through three from the above instructions
  2. On the “New Template Form” page, enter “comment_rss”
I grabbed the download for the version without trackbacks, MIA but looking… no can find :(
Also, this one’s on a core install so the contact form can’t be used.
If I iron out the bugs, I may try going with the personal install I have on ice.

Thanks for pointing that out.  It seems I forgot to include that template in the download.  That’s all fixed up and should be good to go!
