I’m tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to get a three column layout to work and could really use some help. I’ve just grabbed a layout that I found on the internet that looked like it worked and wasn’t filled with tons of hacks that I didn’t understand. So, first off, I’m not sure if this is a good layout or not. I need to have background images in the left and right columns that are different—and the seems to be working fine and the backgrounds are expanding with text. The problem is that the images in the right column want to go down past the center content’s text. I can put in a neg top margin for the right column, but that’s not a solution since then I’d need separate right column layouts for each page.
What I want is to have the placement of the pictures on the right be stationary at the top, and have them be unaffected by how much text is in the center column.
If anyone can help me with this layout, or show me a better way to do it I’d really appreciate the help. I’ve spent way too much time on this as it is with no luck.
