Hi.  I want to build a website with a homepage that is a flash screen, then a forum in the members only are.  Can I make a flash screen, and insert a ‘login’ box?  Is the ‘login’ box some sort of a module that can be inserted?  Once registered and logged in, then a client can to to another page and a forum.  The style and layout of these 3 pages are different from each other.  Is this possible with ee or is the layout fixed as in joomla?

    thanks.

The EE login box is a simple html form - see http://expressionengine.com/docs/modules/member/login_form.html - however if I read you right and you want the login box inside your Flash widget, you would have to code it into Flash movie. IMHO that is a backward way of doing it and you’d be better off leaving the login box as plain html.

Apart from that the layout and style is totally up to you, the templates are allXHTML/CSS so you have complete design freedom.
