    I need some help ASAP… :(

I’m trying to save my EE templates on to a server, so that they can be accessed online, but am having terrible problems.  I’ve gone to global template variables and followed the instructions as laid out in the docs.  The seem to have saved in the correct folder.

When I saved the index page in the relevant folder, the EE tags aren’t being recognised…

I’ve tried putting the files in the same root folder as the index, separate folders (changing URL’s within templates of course…), but I’m still getting something like this…

    http://143.239.96.218/index.php

    (site still under construction…)

I’ve also noticed that now, when I go to view my template through EE, it won’t work - the button to view the template links to a URL that seems to be doubling on the URL - instead of going to :
    http://143.239.96.218/index.php/bis/bis-activities/

    It sends me to http://143.239.96.218/index.php?URL=http://143.239.96.218/index.php/bis/bis-activities/...

As a result of issues with the index, it’s now not showing me any of the other templates I’ve created, because obviously, they all link through the index file.

I really really need some help here as the site is due to go live on Monday.  Everything worked fine in localhost this morning before I tried to copy it across….

I’d really appreciate any help, cause at the moment I have no visibility at all!!!!

    😊

I think it’s ok - I had a look through some of the files and it turns out that the index file was not the original one - panic over, and it all seems to be working fine.
